Description
Our Summer Assembly will be guest host by Assembly Board Member, and Co-Founder and Director of Strategy of Enlightened Solutions, Chinenye Nkemere. After a brief update from Assembly staff, she will share information about the groundbreaking Black Women and Girls Commission for the City of Cleveland. We will also share information about the Cuyahoga County ARPA funds for artists and creative businesses.
“With a promise of creating a more inclusive and equitable arts and culture community, members will gather from all artistic disciplines, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and abilities to build a better Greater Cleveland.”
Assemblies are designed to keep you in the know and keep us accountable as Assembly for the Arts strives to ensure that everyone who lives and works in Greater Cleveland benefits from a diverse and equitable arts and cultural sector. We unite virtually to stay connected and safe. At each gathering, get the latest updates on Assembly's activity and direction. Ask questions, share ideas and share space with your colleagues to advance our collective efforts in arts and culture. Together, we will build a unified voice for our creative community.
Feel free to bring your network of artists, nonprofit staff, creative teams and small business owners to the mix.
Assembly encourages people of all abilities to participate in this work. Live Transcriptions will be enabled. For additional accommodations, please email info@assembly.org.
